Welcome

Monsieur Roger

MCD has been making aluminium roll-up doors for dedicated fire and utility vehicles since 1989. A very simple replacement for conventional opening doors for utility vehicles and lorries, the roll-up door first attracted firemen by its low obstruction level, facilitating safe access and simplicity of handling. In addition, the opening volume leads to a level of performance and accuracy in a compartmentalised layout which is appropriate for such emergency vehicles.

The product

The MCD concept is based on a made to measure roll-up door which can reach up to 4 m2 and which is adaptable to new needs and requirements. The ALU 30 door is available in several versions and is made with double-sided panels slat in extruded aluminium 30mm in height. It is used as a closing shutter for compartment, loading doors, or access features in all types of vehicles as a replacement for conventional opening doors. Standard finish is in powder coated satin grey or anodized aluminium, but the product can be left mill or in various other colours, depending on the RAL chosen. The ALUKIT version, MCD Procedure, consists of a pre-mounted aluminium roll-up door in a polyester frame which can be installed as a replacement for the back doors of the vehicle. The shape of the polyester frame fits the original bodywork perfectly, so that it can be fitted to the vehicle without modifying it. In addition, if it is desirable to restore the original doors, the kit can be disassembled. The tracks are pre-mounted as part of the kit. The door elements can be set up without any procedures such as piercing, sawing, shaping or soldering on the vehicle. Alukit combines all the advantages of the MCD aluminium roll-up door with rapid and simple assembly. Aesthetic quality and the vehicle’s original bodywork are respected.
