MCD has been making aluminium roll-up doors for dedicated fire and utility vehicles since 1989.
A very simple replacement for conventional opening doors for utility vehicles and lorries, the roll-up door first attracted firemen by its low obstruction level, facilitating safe access and simplicity of handling.
In addition, the opening volume leads to a level of performance and accuracy in a compartmentalised layout which is appropriate for such emergency vehicles.

The product
The MCD concept is based on a made to measure roll-up door which can reach up to 4m² and which is adaptable to the new needs and requirements.
We propose a complete range of aluminium roll-up doors to answer each request following different specifications : Dimensions of the door, level of quality desired, weight of the shutter, appearance. Some additional devices are available such as sensors for automatic detection of the opening, electric locking system or automatic led light to propose a complete solution to our customers. Those doors are mostly used as a closing shutter for compartment, loading doors or access features in all types of vehicles. Our standard colour finishes are anodised or a powder coated grey RAL 7035. However, it's possible to order in any RAL colour.
The ALUKIT concept is composed with an aluminium roller shutter pre-assembled in a polyester frame which is installed to replace the original rear opening door of the vehicle.
The shape of the polyester frame is adapted to fit the vehicle perfectly adjusting to the shape of it without modification for adaptation. The kit can be dismounted to replace the original door if needed. The side tracks are already installed on the polyester frame and the shutter just needs to be placed onto it with no need for drilling or cutting the original vehicle.
ALUKIT offers all the advantages of a roller shutter with a very quick and simple installation. Furthermore, the apearancer of the original body is preserved.
