Located in Puy St Bonnet, near Cholet, MCD has been making aluminium roll-up doors for dedicated fire and utility vehicles since 1989. A very simple replacement for conventional opening doors for utility vehicles and lorries, the roll-up door first attracted firemen by its low obstruction level, facilitating safe access and simplicity of handling. In addition, the opening volume leads to a level of performance and accuracy in a compartmentalised layout which is appropriate for such emergency vehicles.
The performance and usage characteristics of our product have convinced bodywork manufacturers to adopt this safe and efficient system for equipping emergency vehicles: Delivery, Workshop, Motorway, Airports, Express Services.

Today, MCD’s market fulfils more than 90% of national requirements, and is the most important supplier for fire protection vehicles in Europe. Its products are commercialised in more than thirty countries across Europe, Asia and North America. MCD also possesses two licensed manufacturing centres, in Poland and in the United States.
